Mar 19, 2013 (newstodate): Plans by the new Tbilisi-based carrier Fly Georgia to launch services to to Scandinavia have taken yet another step forward.
The carrier has applied with Swedish Transport Agency for commercial rights to launch services on a new route connecting Tbilisi and Stockholm - and the Agency has now approved the application.
According to the Agency, Fly Georgia has applied for rights to operate on the route from March 31 to October 26, 2013, and it now remains for the carrier to set up a schedule and announce the start-up date.
In the fleet of Fly Georgia now are three Airbus A320 Family aircraft, with orders pending for a further two with deliveries slated for 2013.
