Apr 30, 2013 (newstodate): The Lithuanian charter carrier Small Planet Airlines redelivered two old Boeing 737-300 aircraft to the leasing company at the end of last year and will return the remaining two after this summer season.
Henceforth, the company will operate an all Airbus A320 fleet across its two Air Operator Certificates in Poland and Lithuania.
During this summer, Small Planet Airlines Poland and Small Planet Airlines Lithuania combined will be operating nine aircraft - three in Poland and two in Lithuania, France and Great Britain, respectively.
Small Planet Airlines recently completed a management buy-out after which the two carriers are now owned by Vytautas Kaikaris and Andrius Staniulis, constituting the current management of the company.
