Jun 21, 2013 (newstodate): The Danish turboprop aircraft lessor Nordic Aviation Capital has placed one aircraft with the Serb carrier JAT.
The ATR-500 was delivered to the airline on June 20, 2013, and will now be tested and painted in JAT's livery before the final take-over and entry into service on the carrier's regional routes reportedly starting from today.
A second ATR 72-500 will follow by the start of July 2013, bringing JAT's ATR aircraft fleet to five including the carrier's own aircraft currently undergoing maintenance.
