The region's first own airline will take to the skies on October 2 this year, having finally completed its eight-year long certification process.
Based at Erbil, Zagrosjet is a venture between the Turkish airline company Atlasjet and the Kurdish Zagros Group and will offer international scheduled and charter passenger and cargo flights with Airbus A321 aircraft.
Stockholm, in Sweden, Amman, Beirut, Ankara and Adana will be the destinations to be served in the first phase.
