Sep 17, 2013 (newstodate): The Faroe Islands' carrier Atlantic Airways is soon to take delivery of its third Airbus A319 aircraft.
The aircraft is now reportedly in the paint shop prior to its delivery to the carrier, planned for early Q4, 2013.
The fleet expansion is driven by a second contract with the Danish tour operator Atlantis Rejser to provide charter capacity, primarily out of Copenhagen, from October 2013.
Atlantic Airways started commercial operations with its first Airbus A319 in March 2012, adding a second aircraft in June 2013.
