Jan 17, 2014 (newstodate): The Nordic express delivery company Jetpak has taken a further step in its coverage of the western part of Denmark, the Jutland peninsula.
-We have now opened our new Jetpak station at Billund, connected to Billund Airport, with Jetpak services provided by the haulage company Dan-Tec as a franchising partner, says Michael Hovgaard Poulsen, Jetpak Denmark country Manager.
-Jetpak is already established with franchise partners at Aalborg and Aarhus, and after the new location at Billund we are looking into rounding off the coverage of western Denmark with a similar solution to serve Karup, in all cases with franchise partners operating in connection with local airports.
-Initially, Jetpak has been serving the market through subcontractors but with the new set-up being rolled out, our partners will operate under Jetpak's brand and according to unified Jetpak standards and fully online with our Jetpak IT systems allowing for full integration between road and air transportation, aiming at providing fast and flexible access to fast transportation by first available flights at the nearest airport, says Mr Povlsen.
