Feb 07, 2014 (newstodate): The Danish carrier Jet Time is building up its fleet of new ATR aircraft to be in place by the start of this coming summer schedule.
Two ATR-72 aircraft has so far been delivered directly from the factory, and two more will arrive in February and March, respectively, followed by one more in April and May bringing the fleet to a total of six aircraft.
On April 5, 2013, SAS signed a contract with the Danish ACMI provider Jet Time for new ATR 72-600 operations to and from the Danish and Swedish capitals.
Under the three-year contract, Jet Time will lease the six aircraft from the Danish turboprop leasing company Nordic Aviation Capital for regional SAS operations at Stockholm and Copenhagen.
The first ATR 72-600 aircraft was delivered to Jet Time on October 18, 2013.
According to the S14 schedule, Jet Time's ATR aircraft will operate on six routes from Copenhagen, including two domestic routes, three routes to German destinations, and one route to Sweden.
From Stockholm Jet Time will operate flights for SAS to five Swedish destinations, three destinations in Finland, and one Norwegian destination.
