Feb 20, 2014 (newstodate): Established in 2009, the Latvian freight forwarding company and service provider Axia Logistics is seeing sustained, but moderate growth.
-The Latvian market is still rather small, but under the given conditions 2013 performed quite well for us, especially in the second half of the year, says Dzintars Zveja, owner and CEO of the company.
-Looking into 2014 we do not foresee any strong growth or rapid development. Right now we are still in the aftermath of the hectic year-end season 2013/14, so everything is rather quiet now.
-Originally we planned for faster growth including opening new offices in Estonia and Lithuania to establish ourselves on a Baltic basis, but these plans were suspended and are not currently part of our immediate strategy either, says Mr Zveja.
