Feb 12, 2014 (newstodate): Atlantic Airways, based on the Faroe Islands, has now found a customer for its last remaining non-Airbus aircraft.
Operating a fleet comprising three Airbus A319, the carrier has placed its last Avro RJ100 aircraft on a long-term dry lease contract taking effect from August 2014 with the Swedish carrier Malmo Aviation.
At the same time, Atlantic Airways has now started a strategy review including a future fleet plan, to be completed by summer 2014 and headed by its new CEO since November 2013, Jorgen Holme.
