Feb 27, 2014 (newstodate): In January 2014, SAS Cargo managed to see growth in only one of four Nordic export cargo markets.
The exception was Norway where actually only one of the Top-10 IATA carriers declined in volumes - Lufthansa Cargo that was down by 29.9 percent.
Here, SAS Cargo grew its export volumes by 6.7 percent, y-o-y, to 634 tonnes, which secured a #7 position and a market share at 6.2 percent.
In Denmark, SAS Cargo was down 9.9 percent to 1,024 tonnes, but this still secured a #1 position, with 18.4 percent of the market.
In Sweden, SAS Cargo was down 22 percent to 1,153 tonnes and a market share at 14.1 percent, ranking #2 on the list.
Finally, in Finland SAS Cargo ranked #8 with a drop by 35.2 percent to 103 tonnes and a market share at 3.2 percent.
