Mar 19, 2014 (newstodate): The Danish charter and ACMI carrier Jet Time has now set up a subsidiary in the Finnish market.
Jet Time Oy has been established to allow Jet Time to perform flights to Turkey for Finnish tour operators as the Turkish authorities require carriers to fly into the country only if they have an own license and AOC issued by the country of departure.
Managed by Kitt Suhr Hansen, with Jet Time in Denmark for several years, Jet Time Oy has now taken in one Boeing 737-700 aircraft and will add one more similar aircraft in June 2014.
The team of Jet Time Oy now comprises 35 staff, 25 of which are leased from Jet Time Denmark, and the company matures the Danish staff will be replaced by locally recruited employees.
Jet Time Oy plans to start production in Finland immediately, with the first flight to Antalya on March 22, 2014, already.
