May 21, 2014 (newstodate): The Lithuanian ACMI and charter carrier, Grand Cru Airlines is to take delivery of its third aircraft, another Boeing 737-300, today.
And already on June 15, 2014, the fourth aircraft will be added to the fleet, a Boeing 737-400.
-The expansion of the aircraft capacity is following our initial plans, and the first three aircraft are fully covered by contracts while our fourth aircraft will be made available in the short-term ACMI market as well as serving as a backup to our operations, says Aleksandr Celiadin, Grand Cru Airlines CCO and Deputy CEO.
-One Boeing 737-300 has been put on a wet-lease contact with the Greek carrier Ellinair, based at Corfu, one Boeing 737-300 is based in the UK, and the last Boeing 737-300 will operate from Vilnius Airport, serving tour operators.
-There is a strong demand for capacity in the market during this season so we are heading for a busy season, says Mr Celiadin.
