May 06, 2014 (newstodate): Russia's new carrier Aurora, based at Vladivostok in the Far East, has taken delivery of its fifth Airbus A319 aircraft.
The carrier has been set up by its parent company Aeroflot by amalgamating SAT Airlines and Vladivostok Avia and plans are to have seven A319 aircraft in the fleet by the end of this year.
With the latest delivery, Aurora operates a fleet comprising five Airbus A319, five Boeing 737 and four Bombardier Q200/Q300 aircraft.
The airline plans to expand its fleet to 40 aircraft within the coming five years.
