Jun 02,2014 (newstodate): Greenland Express will see the Fokker 100 painted in its livery landing at Aalborg Airport today around noon - but the aircraft will then stay put until further notice.
-We are still not able to tell when the first commercial flight to Iceland and Greenland will take place, says Gert Brask, Greenland Express CEO.
-Citing a shortage of staff, the Dutch CAA has still not completed the request by Denim Air to add the Fokker 100 to its AOC despite the request was handed in already three weeks ago. After this has been accomplished, Denim Air will then have to take the AOC to the Danish Trafikstyrelsen for further verification - and only then can we launch commercial operations. I have absolutely no influence on these procedures and can only lean back and wait, says Mr Brask.
The first flights was earlier scheduled for June 2, 2014.
