Jun 03, 2014 (newstodate): Greenland Express has now officially postponed the launch of operations, earlier slated for June 2, 2014.
New launch date is June 17, 2014, according to the company's press release.
As the reason for the sustained delays, Greenland Express cites the Dutch CAA's slow handling of Denim Air's application to have the Fokker 100 aircraft added to its AOC.
In the meantime, Greenland Express has now received its Fokker 100 aircraft in own livery based at Aalborg Airport, Denmark, while a second Denim Air Fokker 100 aircraft will serve as a back-up based in Holland.
