Jan 29, 2015 (newstodate): At today's press conference, Ryanair presented its plans for new routes at Copenhagen Airport.
The low-cost carrier will launch flights on four new routes from Copenhagen to Brussels, Rome, Madrid and Stockholm Skavsta, each to be served with a daily flight.
Flights to Rome and Madrid will launch on September 2, 2015, while flights to Brussels and Stockholm will start from October 25, 2015.
The carrier earlier announced the opening of its first flights from March 26, 2015, to London, Warsaw and Milan.
Copenhagen Airport will become Ryanair's 40th base from March 2015 with up to four Boeing 737-800 aircraft stationed to serve the coming route network, with one aircraft from March and three more to follow later in 2015.
While Danish air passengers may be looking forward to enjoying new cheap air fares from Copenhagen, the Danish unions have made clear that they will unfold the full stock of weaponry against Ryanair that has refused to enter into labor contracts based on established Danish rules.
