Nov 11, 2015 (newstodate): A strategic partnership agreement has been signed by Chapman Freeborn Airchartering and the Norwegian aircraft brokering company Airbroker AS to enhance their offerings in the international air charter market.
Through the contract, Chapman Freeborn is now the exclusive partner for all of Airbroker's charter requirements outside of its home market of Norway.
The partnership will give clients access to the full range of charter aircraft through Chapman Freeborn's global network of over 30 locations.
-Airbroker had come to the point in its development where a need to grow beyond the home market became obvious, says Geir Nesse, Airbroker Senior Broker and partner.
-Working with Chapman Freeborn will give us access to attractive rates as well as enhancing our visibility in the global market place. Our cooperation with Chapman Freeborn will also add especially cargo capabilities to our portfolio which will be a significant asset for us, says Mr Nesse.
According to Mr Nesse, the new strategic partnership does not involve ownership issues - "at the current stage".
