Dec 04, 2015 (newstodate): Chapman Freeborn Airchartering has bolstered its position in the Polish market with the opening of a new office in Katowice.
Already based with an office in Warsaw staffed by over 80 people, Chapman Freeborn is targeting further expansion for its range of products, including cargo and passenger aircraft charters, on board couriers, and centralised load control services via its Air Dispatch CLC subsidiary.
Daniel Walaszek has been appointed general manager for Chapman Freeborn's new Katowice business, with responsibility for expanding the company's charter and on board courier services in the local market, as well as eastern Europe and the Baltic states.
Mr Walaszek comes from a position as TNT Express Poland special services operations manager and has a background from 15 years in management roles for companies in the logistics sector.
