Mar 10, 2015 (newstodate): Greenland's start-up low-cost airline Grenland Express has great ambitions also stretching towards Canada.
-We have applied for traffic rights to launch flights to Canada as an extension of our coming flights between Denmark and Greenland, says Gert Brask, Greenland Express CEO.
-The paper process is rather impressive, with no less than eight state aviation institutions to negotiate with. Obviously this is rather complicated and time-consuming, but so far the process is running well with all parties.
-If we manage to get the application approved already in 2015, we will immediately set up the traffic, with preparations already advanced from our side.
Mr Brask does not want to give out the names of the planned destinations in Canada but only stresses that it implies flights to two "major destinations".
