Apr 30, 2015 (newstodate): March 2015 proved a close race between the two airfreight forwarders topping Sweden's monthly CASS statistics.
Only 125 tonnes secured the #1 position for DHL GLobal Forwarding selling 1,844 tonnes of IATA export airfreight ahead of Geodis Wilson that came second with 1,719 tonnes.
But while DHL Global Forwarding was down 8.49 percent, y-o-y, Geodis Wilson managed to grow by 2.95 percent.
From the #3 position downwards, volumes were more modest with Schenker down 4.98 percent to 790 tonnes, followed by UPS SCS down 15.85 percent to 560 tonnes, and Kuehne & Nagel with 521 tonnes, down 4.73 percent.
Growing the most y-o-y in March 2015 was #6 DSV Air & Sea by 24.45 percent to 383 tonnes, while #7 Panalpina recorded the steepest fall by 44.27 percent to 277 tonnes.
