Aug 04, 2015 (newstodate): Preparations for start of operations by the new carrier Small Planet Airlines Germany are maturing, with hiring of staff on the agenda.
Out now is a call for applicants to fill the position as Ground Handling & Security Manager, to be based at the new office in Berlin.
The new company will be part of Lithuania's Small Planet Group that was established in April 2014 to allow for new business ventures in the form of subsidiaries in new markets, with Small Planet Thailand as the first project announced in December 2014, alongside Small Planet Airlines Poland and the "mother carrier" Small Planet Airlines in Lithuania.
Managed by Andreas Wobig and Oliver Pawel, former Germania CEO and CCO, Small Planet Airlines Germany will launch services on an own AOC with two Airbus A320 aircraft from summer 2016.
