Jan 26, 2016 (newstodate): The Latvian ACMI and charter carrier SmartLynx has placed an aircraft on a contract with a new African customer.
The Equato-Guinean carrier Cronos Airlines will operate the Latvian Airbus A320 on its own AOC, adding it to it existing fleet comprising one BAE146-200, one BAE 146-300 and an MD87 on routes from its hub in Malabo to Bata, Mongomeyen, Cotonou, Port Harcourt and Douala.
In the fleet of SmartLynx, based at Riga Airport, are nine Airbus A320-200 aircraft.
