Nov 30, 2016 (newstodate): Cargo volumes on Russian carriers increased by 7.5 percent, y-o-y, during the first 10 months of this year.
A total of 771,252 tonnes of cargo was carried, 79.5 percent of which was lifted by the country's top-5 operators, aggregating a total of 618,728 tonnes.
Heading the Top-5 league was, as always, ABC with 409,019 tonnes, down 0.9 percent, followed by Aeroflot with 137,667 tonnes and up 27.7 percent, S7 Sibir with 28,429 tonnes and up 9.5 percent, Volga-Dnepr with 24,029 tonnes and down 11.9 percent, and finally UTAir with 19,585 tonnes and up 5.3 percent, y-o-y, during January-October 2016.
