Mar 01, 2016 (newstodate): The Danish air broker company established since January 1, 2015, Blackbird Air Charter is bent on continued development and expansion.
The latest spectacular addition to the portfolio will be the marketing of one AW139 helicopter acquired by the Danish Bestseller Group and currently under certification, expected to be released for commercial operations during the latter part of this month.
-The rotary-wing aircraft will be configured for either VIP flights with eight seats or other flights offering the capacity of 12 seats, says Ole Christiansen, Blackbird Air Charter CEO.
-The primary market for this aircraft will probably be in the off-shore segments, especially the wind turbine industries, but we expect other markets to open up as well, notably in the VIP segments.
-Marketing these new capabilities will be an exciting challenge as few alternatives in this category exist in the Nordic markets, says Mr Christiansen.
Today, Blackbird Air Charter is offering air broker services in the cargo, passenger and business/VIP segments.
