Mar 29, 2016 (newstodate): Iceland's Keflavik Airport has seen cargo volumes rising in the first two months of 2016.
The airport handled a total of 7,817 tonnes of cargo during January-February 2016, an increase by 15.7 percent, y-o-y, after growing 11.8 percent in January and 19.6 percent in February 2016.
Growth in volumes were reported both for exports and imports, with exports rising 14.9 percent to 5,454 tonnes and imports increasing by 17.3 percent percent to 2,363 tonnes.
