Mar 04, 2016 (newstodate): The Swedish regional airline Braathens Regional has put a fleet of aircraft up for sale.
The carrier has entrusted Skyworld Aviation with the task of re-marketing all of its five ATR 72-500 and seven of its 12 Saab 2000 aircraft owned by owned by Swedish lessor Erik Thun AB.
The ATR 72 aircraft were built between 2008 and 2010 and have largely been operating with Braathens Regional since new, while the Saab 2000 aircraft, manufactured between 1995 and 1999, were all originally delivered new to Crossair and have been operating in Europe ever since.
Since February 29, 2016, all airlines earlier trading under the names of Malmo Aviation, Blekingeflyg, Flysmaland, Golden Air, Gotlandsflyg, Kalmarflyg, Kullaflyg and Sundsvallsflyg are branded as BRA, earlier Braathens Regional Airlines.
