May 26, 2016 (newstodate): Cargo volumes on Russian carriers increased by 9.8 percent, y-o-y, during the first four months of this year.
A total of 330,911 tonnes of cargo was carried, 84.1 percent of which was lifted by the country's top-5 operators, aggregating a total of 279,262 tonnes.
Heading the Top-5 league was, as always, ABC with 204,992 tonnes, up 9.6 percent, followed by Aeroflot with 48,266 tonnes and up 15.2 percent, S7 Sibir with 10,285 tonnes and up 12.7 percent, Volga-Dnepr with 9,043 tonnes and down 25.1 percent, and Abakan Air with 6,676 tonnes and up 9.2 percent, y-o-y.
