Jan 31, 2017 (newstodate): Sweden's Taby Air Maintenance, TAM, has again strengthened is cooperation with the Scottish airline Loganair.
As a latest deal, Loganair has picked TAM for a one year dry-lease contract concerning a SAAB 340B passenger aircraft formerly operated by Cyprus-based Tus Airways.
The aircraft is now with TAM at Orebro and will be delivered to Loganair by mid-February.
In December 2016, TAM was selected by Loganair to convert two Saab 340B aircraft to cargo configuration as a follow-on to a previous conversion of two Saab 340A aircraft also for Loganair.
TAM is the only company worldwide that has been approved by the US Federal Aviation Administration, FAA, as well as the European Aviation Safety Authority, EASA, to perform a full cargo conversion of Saab 340A and Saab 340B.
