Oct 13, 2017 (newstodate): Since July 1, 2014, all three state-owned international airports in Lithuania are under the unified management of Lithuanian Airports Plc. with Gediminas Almantas as Lithuanian Airports CEO.
The company has now announced that a new CEO will be named as Mr Almantas will leave the position for personal reasons by March 2018.
Mr Almantas will remain with Lithuanian Airports, though, as member of the Board, also continuing as Lithuania's representative in ACI.
Lithuanian Airports comprises the three airports at Vilnius, Kaunas and Palanga together serving 4.8 million passengers in 2016.
