Oct 25, 2017 (newstodate): Riga-based carrier Primera Air Nordic, part of the Icelandic-owned Primera Travel Group, is now firming up its plans for start of services between Europe and North America.
With the first flight on June 19, 2018, Primera Air Nordic will offer three weekly rotations between London Stansted and Toronto, in Canada, followed by the opening of four weekly flights to Toronto from Paris CDG on June 22, and three weekly flights from Birmingham on June 23, 2018.
Earlier this year, Primera Air Nordic filed an application with the US regulatory bodies for launch of scheduled commercial flights from summer 2018 if granted a Foreign Air Carrier Permit, receiving its operational license between Canada and the European Community and its Member States on OCT 18, 2017.
The routes will be operated with Airbus A321neo aircraft, with nine aircraft on orders for delivery
