Oct 11, 2017 (newstodate): After a drop during the first two months of this quarter, Lithuania's Vilnius Airport again increased its cargo volumes in September 2017.
A total of 899 tonnes of cargo and mail was handled, up 19.7 percent, y-o-y, including 731 tonnes of cargo.
In total, the airport has thus been handling 6,695 tonnes of cargo in January-September 2017, an increase by 2.8 percent after positive growth in seven out of the first nine months in 2017.
Two months with almost 50 percent negative growth in July and August took a deep toll on the over-all performance in 2017
