The carrier has now announced the opening of another new route to Keflavik Airport, connecting Iceland and Poznan, in Poland.
Starting from March 31, 2017, the carrier will be offering three weekly rotations on the route between Poznan and Keflavik.
Wizz Air first entered the Icelandic market with flights from Gdansk, in Poland, from June 19, 2015, adding flights from Warsaw, in Poland, to Keflavik from May 13, 2016, and from Budapest from March 30, 2016.
Since May 28, 2016, Wizz Air has been operating flights to Iceland from Riga in Latvia; from March 26, 2017, the carrier will add operations between Katowice, in Poland, and Keflavik, offering two weekly rotations, and starting from May 31, 2017, Wizz Air will launch flights from Prague in the Czech Republic to Iceland.
