Nov 06, 2017 (newstodate): Moscow Sheremetyevo International Airport has now welcomed the fourth carrier in the Chinese Hainan Airlines Group, HNA.
Latest newcomer is Lucky Air that is now offering one weekly rotation on the route between Kunming and Moscow using Airbus A330-200 aircraft.
Other Group sister airlines at Sheremetyevo Airport are Hainan Airlines, Beijing Capital Airlines and Tianjin Airlines.
In total, the Russian airport is now connected with China by eight Chinese carriers, and so far into 2017 Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport has been handling 1.78 mio Chinese passengers, an increase by 17 percent, y-o-y.
Lucky Air has also announced plans for start of its first services from China to the Nordic region, where Finland's Helsinki Airport will see the start of services by the carrier on the route between Kunming and Chengdu and Helsinki from January 17, 2018, offering three weekly rotations.
Lucky Air, set up in 2004, now operates a fleet comprising 44 aircraft.
