Nov 28, 2017 (newstodate): Moldova's new privately-owned LCC carrier FlyOne has now taken delivery of its third aircraft.
The latest addition is an Airbus A319 formerly operated by Rotana Jet in Abu Dhabi.
With the first flight on June 10, 2016, the carrier started out with one Airbus A320 aircraft, adding one more of this type also in 2016.
In August 2017, FlyOne signed a CAMO contract with the Lithuanian MRO provider FL Technics providing the carrier with AD/SB analysis, maintenance planning, reliability monitoring, utilization control, engine condition monitoring, orders preparation, flight data analysis, as well as continuing airworthiness of the fleet and other engineering support under its Part M approval.
During the first nine months of 2017, the carrier managed to grow its share of Moldova's air traffic market to 19 percent with a route network covering 13 regular destinations Birmingham, Valencia, Barcelona, Dublin, Lisbon, Paris, Moscow, St Petersburg, Milan, Rome, Verona, Venice, and Parma as well as four seasonal charter routes to Antalya, Izmir, Heraklion, and Rhodes.
