Nov 23, 2017 (newstodate): Thai Airways has announced intentions for an increase in services on the route between Bangkok and Oslo from summer 2018.
The carrier is currently offering a daily rotation on the route during the winter schedule and is seeing strong growth in demands in the Norwegian market.
Thai started operating flights to Oslo from June 15, 2009, offering five weekly flights using Airbus A330-500 aircraft later replaced by Boeing 777.
The service is of significance in Norway's airfreight market as the carrier usually lifts up to 18-20 tonnes of cargo, depending on passenger loads, including fresh salmon to the Asian markets.
