Nov 09, 2017 (newstodate): Delegations from Russia and South Korea have agreed on new amendments to the existing air services agreement between the two parties.
For air cargo operations, the designated airlines of Russian Federation have been granted fifth freedom traffic rights between Seoul and points in Asia with up to 10 frequencies per week under the condition that each point shall not exceed 6 frequencies per week.
The designated all-cargo airlines of each side shall be entitled to operate up to 15 weekly frequencies.
The delegations also negotiated amendments to the agreement on use of the Transsiberian and Transpolar routes through Russian airspace - but this part of the agreement is kept secret!
