Nov 20, 2017 (newstodate): Wizz Air is to add a new route from Estonia's Tallinn Airport in summer 2018.
Estonia's Tallinn airport is thus included in the batch of new route openings from London Luton Airport in 2018 alongside flights to a/o Tirana in Albania, Bratislava in Slovaki and Lviv in Ukraine.
The coming new route at Tallinn Airport marks Wizz Air's long-awaited entry into the Estonian market, the last country in the Baltic region to be connected to the carrier's network.
Wizz Air first set foot in the Baltics by launching operations at Riga Airport on March 13, 2010, later establishing Vilnius in Lithuania as its 14th operational base from April 17, 2011.
