Dec 20, 2017 (newstodate): Aeroflot has now taken delivery of its 35th Superjet 100 aircraft.
The latest delivery is the 5th aircraft in a 20-aircraft follow-up order for the Superjet 100 for Aeroflot signed in 2015, with Sukhoi slated to deliver 12 aircraft in 2017, and the remaining eight in 2018.
It thus seems that the actual progress in the delivery scheme is falling significantly behind.
The Sukhoi Superjet 100 entered commercial operation with Aeroflot on June 16, 2011 on the route from Moscow to St Petersburg, marking the beginning of commercial operation of the new aircraft by the Russian national carrier.
