Dec 11, 2017 (newstodate): Azerbaijan's Silk Way West Airlines plans to launch direct cargo flights to the Japan's Kansai International Airport.
The first flight will be performed on December 29, 2017, with a weekly rotation from Baku using either Boeing 747-400 or Boeing 747-8F freighter aircraft.
Silk Way West Airlines has already launched direct cargo flights between Baku and Komatsu, in Japan.
Part of Azerbaijan's Silk Way group comprising 23 companies, Silk Way West Airlines operates a fleet of five 747-400F and nine 747-8F aircraft.
