Feb 07, 2017 (newstodate): With more aircraft coming in, Latvia's airBaltic is continuously opening new routes and increasing frequencies.
Latest new destination on on the carrier's route map from April 26, 2017, will be Kazan International Airport, in Russia's Tatarstan.
airBaltic will be offering two weekly rotations on the route from Riga to Kazan, operated with Boeing 737 aircraft.
Kazan will thus become airBaltic's third destination in Russia, besides Moscow and St Petersburg.
Finnair is also offering flights to Kazan from Helsinki, with up to three weekly rotations.
