On March 8, 2017, Norway's leading seafood logistics provider Schenker is hosting a one-day seminar in Oslo on the future of airfreight in the seafood logistics drawing speakers from a wide range of stakeholders.
On the speakers' list are Knut Eriksmoen, Schenker Snr VP Air & Ocean Freight Norway and Morten Wurgler, Schenker Head of Air Perishables Norway, Rob Veltman, Qatar Airways Cargo VP Cargo Europe, Torgil Staalberg, GPC Mng Dir, Leif Rasmussesn, SAS Cargo CEO, and Martin Hlinka, Norwegian Food Safety Authority.
At around 200,000 tonnes in 2016, Norwegian seafood is today the single largest air cargo commodity in the North European markets, with some 30-35 percent lifted directly by air out of the country.
