Mar 23, 2017 (newstodate): Star Alliance member Ethiopian Airlines has now finalized the preparations for launch of services to Oslo, in Norway, from March 27, 2017.
The carrier will be opening flights to three new destinations within only three days - March 26-28, 2017; besides Oslo, Victoria Falls and Antananarivo will also be added to the route map.
Ethiopian Airlines will thus offer five weekly rotations between Addis Ababa and Oslo with Boeing 787-8 aircraft, providing the first direct air link from Oslo to Africa via Stockholm that has been served since October 28, 2003.
As of 28 March, Ethiopian Airlines' global schedule will include 28 weekly flights to four destinations in China, 20 weekly flights to The Americas, 72 weekly flights to Asia, 65 weekly flights to Middle East, 400 weekly flights to 53 cities across Africa and almost daily 54 flights to Europe.
