Mar 31, 2017 (newstodate): The Icelandic LCC WOW Air continues to spread its wings - and add new ones at the same time.
The carrier has now announced the opening of its 10th destinations In the USA, in the form of a new route from Keflavik to Chicago, to be served with four weekly rotations starting from July 13, 2017 and served until October 22, 2017.
Prior to that, flights are also announced to Miami and Pittsburgh during this summer.
With the expansion of the route network in the years ahead, the carrier has also placed orders for seven new Airbus aircraft including four Airbus A330-900neo and three Airbus A321 aircraft.
In the fleet of WOW Air are now 12 aircraft operating the summer program, and the seven additional aircraft are expected to be delivered starting from mid-2017 already.
