Mar 17, 2017 (newstodate): The Irish LCC Ryanair has now launched its 5th base in Poland - Poznan.
Allocating one aircraft to be based in Poznan from the start, Ryanair will open new flights from Poznan to Scandinavian destinations Billund and Oslo Torp as well as Athens, Castellon, Eilat Ovda, Madrid, and Tel Aviv, all to be served twice-weekly from this year's coming winter schedule.
Ryanair's first base in Poland was established in autumn 2011 at Wroclaw, later adding Warsaw Modlin and Gdansk from winter 2014 and Krakow from summer 2017.
