Mar 31, 2017 (newstodate): Turkish Cargo, the cargo arm of Turkish Airlines, is maintaining a strong dedication to the Nordic markets, offering freighter services in addition to cargo capacity on passenger aircraft.
Serving Finland, Turkish Cargo has been operating two freighter rotations at Helsinki Airport since December 2011, adding a third rotation in June 2016.
These operations are rotated in cooperation with other, changing en-route destinations.
Since October 30, 2011, THY Cargo has been offering freighter services in the Swedish market, starting with two and growing to three weekly services at Stockholm Arlanda Airport
In Denmark, Turkish Cargo launched its first weekly freighter operation on April 10, 2016, adding a second weekly rotation from early November 2016.
Finally, Norway was added as a Turkish Cargo freighter destination with the first flight launched on Tuesday March 27, 2017, and already from March 10, 2017, the company added its second rotation through Oslo Airport.
But the expansion is not to stop here: Turkish Cargo is now preparing to add a fourth freighter flight at Finland's Helsinki Airport - and Norway's Oslo Airport probably also has not yet seen the end of the Turkish provider's attraction to the country's seafood exports..
