Mar 16, 2017 (newstodate): The world's first airline to operate the Bombardier CS300 aircraft, Latvia's airBaltic is most satisfied with the performance of the aircraft.
So far, the carrier has accumulated 1,000 block hours and 500 flights with the CS300 aircraft, and the aircraft has performed above expectations - and specifications- on any key parameter.
In the fleet now are two CS300 aircraft, and delivery of the the third aircraft is slated for later this month.
airBaltic took over its first CS300 on November 28, 2016, adding a second aircraft on December 31, 2016, and will have eight aircraft in the fleet by end of 2017.
The carrier originally ordered 10 aircraft plus 10 options that have now all been exercised.
The airline is also to decide on ordering another two Bombardier aircraft above the 20 units comprised by the initial order.
