Apr 18, 2017 (newstodate): After more than 25 years of preparation, Baltia Airlines is still demonstrating efforts to launch commercial services between the USA and Russia, the Baltic and other East European markets.
Having gone through a full management shape-up, the carrier in 2016 signed an agreement with Kalitta air for lease of one Boeing 767-30ER aircraft, and Baltia Airlines has now acquired 10 registration slots indicating its plan for operating up to 10 aircraft along the winding road of future services.
Baltia Air Lines' ambition remains the launch of flights between New York and St Petersburg, and later adding flights to the capital cities of Eastern Europe, including Moscow, Riga, Kiev, and Minsk.
