Apr 21, 2017 (newstodate): In March 2017, cargo volumes through the three airports constituting Russia's Moscow Aviation Hub increased by no less than 29.1 percent, y-o-y, while mail volumes were also up by 44.4 percent.
Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport increased its volumes by 43.8 percent to 25,154 tonnes, volumes through Moscow Domodedovo Airport increased by 11.5 percent to 11,303 tonnes, and volumes at Moscow Vnukovo Airport were up by 75.6 percent to 2,682 tonnes.
This brought the over-all volumes at the three capital hub airports in January-March 2017 to a total of 101.100 tonnes, an increase by 29.1 percent, y-o-y, while mail volumes increased by 44.4 percent to 16.800 tonnes in Q1.
