Apr 04, 2017 (newstodate): Estonia's Tallinn Airport noted another month of cargo decline in March 2017.
Total volumes dipped by 26.9 percent, y-o-y, to 840 tonnes, including 621 tonnes of cargo and 199 tonnes of mail.
The decline was caused by a steep drop by 51.5 percent in cargo exports, to 368 tonnes while cargo imports were up by 3.7 percent to 273 tonnes.
Mail volumes increased, both into and from the country.
During this year's Q1, the airport has thus seen total volumes up by 3.2 percent, y-o-y, to 2,649 tonnes thanks alone to an unusual rise in cargo in January that saw an increase in both exports and imports.
In February the picture was less promising, with a drop by 10.5 percent in total volumes.
