Apr 03, 2017 (newstodate): UPS is now improving its service to Lithuanian customers.
The parcel and express delivery company has launched flights from its European hub at Cologne to Kaunas with five weekly rotations, contracting Sprint Air to provide an ATR-72 freighter aircraft offering eight tonnes of cargo capacity.
Until now, UPS has served the Lithuanian market with daily flights with a SAAB 340F between Warsaw and Kaunas as an extension of the route between Warsaw and Cologne, but with the new direct route Lithuanian exporters will benefit from a further three working hours before cut-off time at Kaunas Airport.
